iPhone Trouble

[ #36423 ]

I had received a SMS and a call from an unknown number yesterday morning, so I got really curious as to who it could be who attempted to get a hold of me.

But my iPhone started acting up, rebooting over and over again.

After several attempts powering it down with out any change in it's behavior, I goggled...

So I found the following solution and after two attempts it worked

I thought I was safe with the restoring of the iPhone, since I normally synchronize everything from my Powerbook, but I lost my notes, SMSs and call information, Edge settings etc.

I think there is a backup facility, but I did not use it :-/

Things are slowly getting back in place and the call and SMS was from a fellow Perl Monger who had an assignment for me.

It is the first time I experience serious trouble with my iPhone, in general I am a happy user.
