Actually you get the same result if you are in France. Italy is fine though, provided you are over 18 (and yes, if you were born in 1987 they ask you for your birth date).

There were some things that I missed in Italy but the Eurovision Song Contest wasn't one of them.:-)

It would be uncharitable to say that they needn't worry about winning.
Anyway, Italy has its own "international" song contest: Sanr
