I work for Angelo State University as somewhat of a Windows server administrator. I am the founding member of the San Angelo Perl Mongers. I'm fairly new to the Perl Community at large.
I can be found on irc in #yapc, #news, and #win32. I'm trying to help out with the win32.perl.org project. I've recently acquired a PAUSE ID and might have a module or two on the CPAN (by the time you read this). http://search.cpan.org/~jfluhmann/ [cpan.org]
I am also one of the organizers for YAPC::NA 2007.

After almost three weeks of no Internet at home, I'm pleased to say that I finally have a connection again. My (new) place of employment (Angelo State University) provides a Business DSL account. SuddenLink came yesterday and did the install. I've been living off of various open wireless access points (that were kind of spotty at best) while in transition.
I'm setting up an Ubuntu server today for my Perl testing environment. We'll see how it goes.
Also, due to getting Internet access again, I finally finished up the major pieces of the YAPC-NA 2007 site and requested that it go live. I'll make an announcement once that happens.
