  • is the link correct?
    • NEW YORK (AP) - Hackers attacked the Web site of the Arab satellite television network Al-Jazeera today, rendering it intermittently unavailable, the site's host said.

The newly launched English-language page, which went live Monday and posted images of the corpses of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq, was hardest hit in a bombardment of data packets known as a denial-of-service attack.

      • Yes, and this is the second time I've posted a link in my journal that got attacked. Couple that with the fact that a lot of our journal entries wind up on slashdot not long after, and I'm starting to wonder who all is reading here.

I almost made another journal entry out of that idea. In a way, I'm mad, but in a way I subscribe to the "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" school ... they need to tighten up security on their site, and now they will.
