  • After I read the Ruby on Rails article [onlamp.com], I got the example code up and running fairly quickly (and that was including the time to install the patch for the ActiveRecord class since I wanted to use SQL Server instead of MySQL, and the SQL Server class was broken). Anyway, later I heard about Catalyst [uwinnipeg.ca], and wondered how it compared to Rails. There was no ppd, and 'normal' installation wasn't going smoothly, and I didn't have that much time, so I gave up. I will give it another try though (hopefully sometime so
