First batch of email sent to all addresses of people that could be interested in a Perl coder. Phew, hunting the addresses down and all was exhausting. I hope at least some of those answer, one way or another. If you know of good job listings I'd love to hear about them.

I've had the pleasure to work with Robin on several things (both paying and free work) and I can't recommend him highly enough. Smart, commited, technically erudite, and able to play nice with others; he'd be a strong addition to any team.
If you have a need now (or if you are looking swap out some deadwood for someone with real talent), make him an offer quick, before someone else does.
