This site really is a most valuable resource, especially for people fairly new to Perl and CPAN.
Can it be started up again, or is it too resource intensive (read: costly)? I don't even remember whose site it is, some guy named "Mark" from London.pm, that's all I seem to recall. There's an, apparently abandoned account, advent, here. Or, should there be a mirror set up, like, under the *.perl.org umbrella?
Update: Ooh, I just found a mirror site: http://mirror.perladvent.org/. I wonder whose that is, and how long that one will stay up.
Update (20:30CET): I see it's up again. The question still stands: what if it goes down indefinitely?
