I co-organised YAPC::Europe in 2006 and now help to support organisers with documentation and templates, and I keep an eye on CPAN Testing helping to promote it as much as I can.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a secret, but seeing as it's listed on yapc.org and the first post to the website states it being launched to the public, I guess there was supposed to have been announcement.
