    I'm assuming it's Arabic, considering the file is "a3ar.gif". Urdu also uses Arabic script, much as Yiddish uses Hebrew.

      It seems [unicode.org] that languages written in Arabic script include Arabic, Azeri, Farsi, Ingush, Kashmiri, Kurdish, Parsi-dari, Pashto, Sindhi, Uighur, and Urdu (and formerly Hausa, Indonesian, Kirghiz, Malay, Tajik, Turkish, and Turkmen).
