Apple

I'm in the market for an Apple laptop. My budget isn't superhigh but high enough to get a MacBook 2.0ghz with 1GB of memory, the 120GB hard disk and the superdrive. I assume it'll be black but I'm an Apple newbie (ignoring the iPod nano and iPod shuffle 1st gen).

  • Good choice, you'll love it! If you're on a budget I can think of two options for your consideration.

    If not, you might want to consider an Apple Certified Refurbished Mac. There are some pretty incredible deals to be had here. Click the "Refurbished Mac" link at http://store.apple.com/ [apple.com]
    • Here here. I was just looking at a 17" MBP Core2 for $2299...$500 with the same warranty + applecare is a damn good deal.
    • I can get it through work at a relativly good price as it is part of my yearly bonus :)
  • Good choice indeed. See if you can add 1gb of ram though, so it totals 2gb.. macs run a lot smoother with more ram :)
