  • Don't complain about lack of options. You've got to pick a few when you do multiple choice. Those are the breaks.
  • Feel free to suggest poll ideas if you're feeling creative. I'd strongly suggest reading the past polls first.
  • This whole thing is wildly inaccurate. Rounding errors, ballot stuffers, dynamic IPs, firewalls. If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane.

  • TPC / OSCON (Score:3, Informative)

I've been to every TPC but last year; I've been to every YAPC, but this year. Busy with new child, only time for one a year, unless it is close by. :-)
    • Rats. If I get to go at all, it'll be YAPC. I only started seriously considering it last week, as in my new position funds (and more importantly time) for Perl conferences will not be considered. My original thought was I couldn't go on my own time and dollar, but now I'm considering it.

  • I love Perl and deeply wish I could attend at least the YAPC 2003 in Florida. But money is tight. (Sigh) Maybe next year...
  • I'll be at Perl Whirl, OSCON, and YAPC::NA, probably, maybe others if I can manage it :)
  • I think I may be able to pull off YAPC::NA and YAPC::Canada. OSCON might be a stretch. I would need my department to pick up most of the tab.

I would really like to go to OSCON. I was there for the last two at Monterey and missed all of them in San Diego.

    Here's hoping.
  • If anyone's interested, I'll be giving "getting started with CamelBones" tutorials at both OSCON and YAPC::Canada.
