For some reason the "omnipotent bunny" ad always annoys me. The ad reads:
This Omnipotent Rabbit is Smarter Than You
Well if that is true it would be an OMNISCIENT Rabbit. OMNIPOTENCE is about power. So it should really read:
This Omniscient Rabbit is Smarter Than You
Whew, glad I got that off my chest.

That will probably never hit the "major" news sites because she is a Democrat.
I have lots of words about this kind of thing but my mom brought me up not to say them.
I require a perl/DBI programmer to create a script for my community site that incorporates all the features of myspace.com and youtube.com.
A script can do ALL of that. That was on the Perl jobs listing.

Does the latest version squelch some of the shortcomings?
The last one came out in 2000, 7 years ago. I wonder if there are ephemeral thoughts in putting a new one out? Or if there are "others" that replace the need for it?
I cannot see Larry W. working on it since I am pretty sure that he is tied up with Perl6.
Just musing about it.
I just did this to keep my Vim7 patched. I started out with the binary built at www.macvim.org.
Then I do this:
cd
svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vim/vim7
cd vim7/src
--enable-perlinterp \
--enable-pythoninterp \
--enable-tclinterp --with-tclsh=tclsh8.4 \
--enable-rubyinterp \
--enable-multibyte \
--enable-cscope \
--with-features=huge \
--with-compiledby=my.addy@something.com
make
make test
sudo make install (this will install Vim.app in
I then rename the original binary and copy the new one into
When patches come out:
cd
svn update
make
make test
make install
Move everything again...and I am up-to-date.
Why in the hell does anyone listen to Rosie O'Donnell and why do they care one iota about what crap spews forth from her mouth? She has no clue that I can gather about anything.
