First entry -- testing!

[ #1723 ]

So now I have a username on use Perl; (which luckily is the same as on perlmonks.org).

OK, let's test this journal stuff...

Too bad I couldn't find help on "friends" and "fans"... I already tried to befriend darobin and arhuman, whom I know from the French "Mongueurs de Perl", but there must be something more to do. (Like, reading the help file or waiting for their feedback on my friendliness.)

Comments enabled on this one, so bored people can give me hints on how this all works.

  • Seeing a BooK at perlmonks, I mean. I'm over there too.

Well, next time you're logged in here and knee-deep in journal stuff, follow the link Your Info, at the upper left of the page. There's a link to a list of your friends, a list of your fans, a bunch of your last posts, etc.

Someone should be on your fan list by now. :) Don't ask me about the foe thing, though -- I just learned how friends and fans worked. Foes seem to be very, very new.
