My Head Hurts

Not from a headache, either -- just from so much attempted learning within the confines of three days. :\ I just finished the LFS download and now I need to see if I can actually put the puzzle together. I'm going to try to build it in Cygwin, which means I'm going to have to figure out how to get it onto the 486 from here.

(My best bet, I suspect, is the Zip drive. Not totally sure about that, but I waded through all the docs about "images on CDs that look like 2.88 floppy disks" and my eyeballs just about crawled out of my head.)

The good news is that either A: I'll get the LFS installed and working or B: I'll get so disgusted with it because I can't get it installed that I don't want to have a computer at my house for a few days.

Well, it's sort-of good news. :|
