CPAN::Reporter has had over 20 releases since I first announced it here on August 26. Now anyone with an up-to-date CPAN.pm can contribute to CPAN Testers -- no smoke server needed.

Issue 67 (November 2006, out now) of UK magazine Linux User and Developer is featuring a 4-page review of the YAPC::Europe 2006 conference.

Kirsten Jones of Socialtext talked with Perlcast about the REST API beta available now on their wiki. Socialtext is a company based around a powerful wiki written largely in Perl. Their wiki software was recently open sourced and is available for download at SourceForge.

Bill Odom, President of The Perl Foundation, sat down with me at the Pittsburgh Perl Workshop to talk a little about The Perl Foundation and how it is helping to support Perl and the Perl community. In the interview Bill talks about a wide range of topics including how he sees TPF helping drive the continued success and adoption of Perl as a programming language for years to come.

There is a new mailing list for Catalyst related discussion in German. It is born out of a discussion in Hamburg.pm/Dresden.pm mailing list, that we should try to collect and bring together german speaking Catalyst users. Matt S Trout quickly set up the list for us before we could say "Blueberry pie".
