There is a new mailing list for Catalyst related discussion in German. It is born out of a discussion in Hamburg.pm/Dresden.pm mailing list, that we should try to collect and bring together german speaking Catalyst users. Matt S Trout quickly set up the list for us before we could say "Blueberry pie".
If you do Catalyst in Germany or around, feel free to subscribe at http://lists.scsys.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/catalyst-de
"May I remind everybody my personal opinion, which is that I see little to null utility to style patches to C or perl code, but that they clobber version control history, waste my time, and that in most I cases will not apply them." — Rafaël Garcia-Suarez, current pumpking, on why people should not fiddle with the bloody whitespace.
Both lists are unmoderated presently. I hope to leave them unmoderated, as time I spend on moderation would be time I don't spend on developing pmtools-perl6.
The bundle of talks on offer this month are:
"The whole point of reserving these namespaces is not to prevent users from misusing them, but to ensure that when we eventually get around to using a particular block name, and those same users start screaming about it, we can mournfully point to the passage in the original spec and silently shake our heads. ;-)"
-- Damian Conway, on POD specifications
