The Austrian Perl Workshop 2006 will be at Kapsch CarrierCom / Vienna on 8th and 9th of June. It is organised by Vienna.pm.
I'll be doing a couple of Talks on a new Scheduler, and Maypole, hopefully we'll have some talks from other local perl mongers and we'll have guests from Birmingham.pm on their world tour.
chromatic writes: Rumor has it that this year's combined OSCON/TPC will be the tenth anniversary of The Perl Conference. O'Reilly would like to do something special to commemorate this event.
Do you have an interesting story about any TPC you attended? How about a cool photograph or some swag? I'll sift through any submissions and choose the best ones. This is a work project, so send me e-mail to chromatic at oreilly dot com or reply.
Adam Kennedy has announced some major changes to the Catalyst project team. The largest one is that the project founder, Sebastian Riedel, has left the core development team. He will be working on a new framework called Woodstock.
Adam's full announcement is available online.
