    Curtis, I'm on the same network as you and it's DEFININTELY the network. Slow DNS lookup, unreliable proxy. Even the available wifi's outside the network are bad because there are so many and they interfere. And they're overloaded. I've been known to fall back to my 3G dongle to get bandwidths. Turning off anything in the browser like Alexa or Flash will help but it's not the solution. Don't tar Firefox with our employer's network brush is unfair.
