  • I went to my local Walgreens and purchased a cheap water pistol. Best $1.99 I ever spent as my cats do not now jump on the stove.
    • Don't you mean, they don't jump on the stove/counter/etc when you're around? ;-) I know it certainly applies to my cats...

      Everytime I see them somewhere they shouldn't be, I push them off. But either they're really stupid, or really stubborn. Personally, I think it's stubbornness.

      • The table we purchased is immediately under a kitchen window, almost flush with it, in fact.

        Last night, the orange cat sped across the kitchen, lept upon the table, and tried to get to the window sill, which was behind the inner window. He bounced off the glass and hasn't tried again since.

        Yep I'd be a bit naive to think that they don't jump up there as soon as I leave the house!
