If it'd be of use, I'd be willing to set something up to make available the database info used in our cpan.uwinnipeg.ca [uwinnipeg.ca] database - an example of the type of information available can be seen at, for instance, cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/meta/Archive-Zip/META.yml [uwinnipeg.ca], or, if you prefer module names, cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/meta/Archive::Zip/META.yml [uwinnipeg.ca]. json and ppd extensions to this are also recognized.

  The more databases, the merrier.
  
  To be honest, I'm not entirely surely which databases will be useful, but once we have a large number of DBs available, it expands the opportunities for writing code.
  
  The bits that will continue to be useful will likely emerge over time.
