Please ignore the man behind the curtain -- holding a camera with a wide-angle lens.

Googling for "giant insects iraq" got me this informative page, which starts with an amusing hoax email:

"They may accidentally bite humans, but have no venom glands....Camelspiders may reach up to 7 cm in length, although the perspective of this photo makes them appear even larger."
