I believe it is possible. You be my judge - EMA Field Day Directory [arrl.org] uses PHP+MySQL for the pages because the guy hosting it is a PHP fanatic, but off-line Perl for the graphics since the guy doing the work (me) is a Perl fanatic. The FD2005 version of the page may include some live Perl, maybe even Maypole ... TBD in my copious spare time.
