  • you're not a proper geek!

You left out: The Matrix (nr. 1 of course), The 5th Element, Blade Runner - and probably several other geek-must-see's that I haven't mentioned (and will be chastised for not remembering).

    • Well actually, one that I left out, not on purpose (but I added now) is Fight Club. I have both the Fifth Element and The Matrix on DVD but they dont give me that je ne sais quoi feeling afterwards so I didn't add them. I never claimed I was a proper geek.. or that I was a geek to begin with :D
      • Fifth Element left me with a weird hollow feeling too. Like, everything worked, but there didn't seem to be a concrete resolution.

As for Matrix...there are scenes from that, most notably the resurrection at the end, or the lobby scene, that I sometimes put on autorepeat and listen to for an hour or so.

I own Memento as well, but that produces such a unique feeling that it's hard to watch casually.
