Polypropelene, silk.
You can get polyprop clothing lotsa places. My favorite place to get silks is http://www.wintersilks.com or http://catalogs.google.com/catalogs?q=wintersilks
(side note: http://catalogs.google.com kicks ass!)
I've got some lighter silk longjohns, and they work well as a first layer under my regular longjohns. No more freezing my butt off at deer camp!
