Hrm.....been there. Don't know if this'll help, but it worked for me.
- Are you honest with yourself?
- Are you honest with those around you?
If so, the feeling is invalid and you just have to let it go. If not, you have a point of reference from which to begin. That which is honest cannot be fake.
For me, it was simply a matter of pursuing my passion. Once I identified that and began pursuing it, everything fell into place.
