Wow, great write-up! I didn't have a chance to catch any of the talks, so I look forward to the videos. Regarding the organizers having not attended a YAPC, Will and I actually attended last year in Chicago. I already had plans to bid before attending, so it was good that I was able to get $work to send me. Other than that, I haven't really been to any major conferences.

Ah, I thought you'd said you hadn't been to a YAPC. Oops. Still, I hope organising one hasn't put you off and that we'll be seeing you at many more in the future ;)
