From Pittsburgh to Oklahoma, 20 hours. 12:00am - 8:00pm
From Oklahoma to Arizona, 16 hours. 4:00am - 8:00pm
From Arizona to California, 8 hours. 8:00am - 4:00pm

Logical, as the best scenery is west of OK, you might as well
drive in the dark on the eastern segments.
Plan ahead for or around construction delays if possible,
and check out speedtraps [speedtrap.org].
Urban road construction delays are at night
(in CA, at least).
