Actually, Thus is the old Scottish Telecom, who own Demon, one of the original British ISPs.

Scottish Power is still around, although for some reason they trade as the intercapped ScottishPower: about page [scottishpower.com].

  Aha, digging further it seems that ScottishPower formed Scottish Telecom, who it renamed Thus, floated, and is now divesting.
