    You define a function like this:

    name ( ) { list ; }

    So, the first thing it is doing is defining a function named : that does :|:& ...

    Then, it runs that function...

    And then, I have to use brute force (or better yet, the magic button) to restore (ab)normality... :-)

    Am I right? :-)
