  • VLC [videolan.org] has video streaming, the player just needs to have the proper codec. Hey, it's OpenSource and free. Beats the fuck out of Real and about anything else.
  • Still waiting for theora [theora.org] to get done.
  • Nullsoft video?
  • These seem a little underdone so far. I found gnump3d [gnu.org]. Could be easy for a client to just make MP3s. But, I couldn't find what video formats it supports and it seems like it's Apache::MP3.. something that streams, but not really a streaming server for more corporate use.

    Thanks for the suggestions so far, I can keep them in the queue for R&D.
