I pour the blue liquid on the red liquid. If it doesn't blow up on my
face, I proceed to turn up the flame under the blue liquid, and so on.
I have very little idea of what I am really doing, I just like the
pretty colors :-)

Some of my my Perl Journal articles [interglacial.com] might be worth translating, I don't know. I'm particularly happy with "A User's View of Object-Oriented Modules" [interglacial.com]. Or hell, maybe his publisher will pay ($$$!) you to produce a real actual for-print translation!
Also, if you want your head to explode, you might think about translating Higher-Order Perl [plover.com] , the best book written about Perl in about the past decade. Ask MJD about whether Chinese translations can be freely available online, or what; I don't remember what his contract says.
