  • There are Linux and Solaris versions of ActiveState Perl, so if you want ppm for *nix, you have it. The main problem is that a lot of the ppm modules are seriously outdated.
  • Thank goodness for CPANPLUS.

    Part of the problem is that not everyone submits a bug report for broken modules. At least it's easier with CPANPLUS.
