  • So yeah, the trailer for Ultraviolet looked scary bad. But I, er, watched the movie regardless. And then wanted to gouge out my eyes with a spork.
  • ... is that the directors have a pet peeve about movies with guns, which is that for all the shooting going on, there is never enough impacts of bullets. With the amount of shooting in a typical action/sci-fi movie like this, there should be crap all over the place.

    And so they decided to do it "right". As a result, I believe this movie sets the all-time record for the number of bullet impact "squibs" used in a motion picture.

    It's some rediculously enormous number, and I forgot the specifics, but some scenes
    • It's not just shooting shit up, it's "gun-kata"! Look how original we are!!1!1eleventyone

      Also: the guy getting chopped in half. Tell me that everyone who saw this movie didn't see that coming about ten minutes earlier.
