  • It appears that it is a literal translation, the original being written in French [wanadoo.fr], and slightly more readable. However most polysyllables could be replaced by real worlds without changing the sense. Why saying We can see that an existential psychoanalysis of theologies is a key to history and to politics when it's only the old idea, myths shape nations ?
    • To partly answer your question: I partly recall a 19th century epigram that started out like "In France, ignorant men try very hard to seem learnèd, while in England, learnèd men try very hard to seem ignorant", and then the epigram continued with something about how that meant one kind of burden for French society and another for English society, etc etc. I wish I could remember it right.
