  thanks but these are both request trackers, seems like a long way to use them as CRM which I need mainly for marketing/tracking calls to customers etc.
  I found XRMS [sourceforge.net] which is written in PHP and seem to fit much better but I'd still prefer a Perl based solution if I can find one that fits the needs.
