Not right about funding (Score:2)

Actually, Parrot _does_ receive funding from the Perl Foundation. See http://news.perl-foundation.org/2005/12/parrot_grant_and_accomplishmen.html#more [perl-foundation.org] for details.

In regards to the IRC complainer, I can't see how this would slow the project down. It's not like I, as grant manager, am in there telling people what to do (or not do). I just approve milestone payments as milestones are reached, and send reports to NLNet on Parrot progress.

  I could have been more clear. No one involved with Parrot has received funding from TPF in at least a year, to my knowledge. Further, it looks as if there won't be any payment for the PDD milestones, if Allison finishes them, as she is ineligible to receive payment from TPF, as a boardmember.

    Payments for design milestones go to Chip, and for implementation to Leo. I will be approving a design milestone payment as soon as I get around to writing the latest grant update, from what I've seen completed these past two months.
