  • Why oh why do I have to create an account seperately?

    Spam.

  • I’ve already established that I can’t create a account to submit a bug! Why couldn’t they just forward it to the right system?

What makes you think the bug tracker creators have better ways to contact a bug tracker user project than you?

You’d think that they would have the built-in ability reassign the bug to any of their client software systems. Maybe this is too much to ask, but at this point, I’m pretty frustrated.

Yes, that is definitely too much to ask.

    Right there

    • That's quite a story - and I believe that it's real. I've dealt with similar people in the past.

The bug passing between bug systems is really a pipe dream. Realistically, I realize it's not feasible in most cases. But wouldn't it be nice if you could say "not my bug - it belongs to this other module or program" and then the bug listing magically appears in that other program's bug tracker?

Too much opportunity for abuse, probably. But it would save me the trouble of reentering the same bug in another sys
