While I'm not sure that 5.8 would justify it, 5.10 definitely would. It has some fantastic features that many people aren't going to know about. I'd love to see a 'Learn Perl 5.10' Web page with a good summary. I suppose there is one out there, somewhere :)

The OpenOffice users have the best of both worlds - they can read and write Microsoft Office files as well as their own. However those of us using the Microsoft applications are stuck with .doc, .xls, and .ppt, and may not wish to (or even be able to) insta
