    One could probably say the same thing about the folks suing the cancer^Wtobacco companies.

      The difference is that the tobacco companies lied for years about *how* dangerous cigarettes were. I don't know of the answer is to sue for your cancer, but certainly some action should be taken against their fraud.
      • In addition, the tobacco companies manipulated nicotine levels specifically to increase the addictiveness of their product. I don't think the case of fast food is parallel.
