    • It's me. No, really! I've been able to vote at least 4 times in this poll... once per day. I'm not sure why it lets me keep voting. Shame on me, but I just wanted to see if it would actually count the vote each time.

    • But this is a Perl forum. I wouldn't mind betting Linux > Win within perl users.
      • Yep, several reasons for this...
        • All major *n?x distros come with Perl. Windows not only doesn't come with Perl, but looking for Windows software doesn't usually result in finding Perl, and none of the Windows tech books talk much about Perl, either.
        • People who write Perl are usually somewhat technically inclined; there are Windows users who are technically inclined, but they are in the minority. Notice also that NT beat out 9x, even though Windows 98SE alone has way
