You could even advertise this on the Subversion development mailing list. If they find this interesting this can even be integrated into the proper part of the tree. But then you'd have to maintain it...

  I'm not sure whether it's of much interest to the Subversion folks, as it does more favours to users of CVS by stealing the Subversion notion of caching texts to give you offline activities.
  But then you'd have to maintain it...
  
  The words that would normally instill a feeling of dread, however since for $dayjob I'm hacking against a slow slow CVSforNT[0] service it's keeping me itchy enough to keep it going until someone ports the Subversion server to NT.
