it's times like this that I'm glad I don't understand patent law. At least, hoping to $DIETY that that patent isn't for what I think it is is a good defense mechanism against stupidity. :)

Hm. I'm sure there's plenty of prior art. Let's hope some of it is owned by companies with deep pockets and lawyers so this patent can be invalidated.
