  • I know the feeling about C. There are things I want to do that Perl just can't handle, so I'm working with C more and more. This makes me happy, but my C still sucks.

    • I've been doing a lot of Quicktime work, and I share your C-coding pain. I've been really tempted to write XS bindings for the Quicktime API several times.

      On the other hand, I've found Objective-C to be quite pleasant. It's about as Perl-like as you can get and still be C, I think.
