You might be thinking of PHP, where that knee-jerk "we've put in absolutely milliseconds of design-in-the-small" sentiment has produced such a wonderfully cohesive and consistent gestalt.
Do you know what the
*twigil signifies in Perl 6? Do you know what any twigil signifies? If you don't know what$*INmeans, how can you possibly have any hope of devising an alternate syntax? (Or does your example assume an implicit macro predeclaring a bareword?)Reply to This
