Pm, that's wonderful on so many levels. I'd like to translate that into Chinese and repost with credit on my personal blog, if it's okay with you...
Also, reading your piece prompted me to add my own reply [modernperlbooks.com] to chromatic++, as a practical exercise in sublimation of our collective memories.
All in all, thank you for carrying the torch forward, with a very sound design, and a much higher bus number by now. :-)
