Nope, I'm afraid not. He's probably a different relative. I believe a lot of the British branch of the family is Blackston or Blaxton. I'm Blackstone. But it's all from common stock, and a lot of people who knew the roots of my family in East Texas pronounce it Blackston even when spelled Blackstone.
Looks like programming is in the genes. :)
