I just ran across this node, after having read about Grant. A sad day, indeed.

Anyway, a better source of PM node counts can be had from JC Wren's site, since he has a direct regular dump of the database to play with.

You should be able to scrape some better numbers from http://tinymicros.com/ptav/.
