  • It always mystifies me when people have problems with search.cpan.org - If you're seaching for a module, change the "in" select menu to "modules" instead of the default "all".

    I have a couple of searches saved as firefox keyword-bookmarks, so that I can type "cpan CGI" in the address box for a "module" search, or type "dist perl" for a "distribution" search - massive time savers.
    • Why should it mystify you? search.cpan has always had a few particular flaws that, due to the underlying engine, haven't ever gotten fixed.

      Andy, you should also include kobesearch.cpan.org. :)
