  • I firmly believe that any excused to get James Spader and Robert Downey Jr. together is worthwhile. Spader's disdain is palpable, and Downey Jr. came through with the most convincing hitting of the proverbial base that I've seen on film. That said, Andrew McCarthy is a whiney snivelly little twit, whose appeal I've never understood. Incidentally, he's off Broadway now in a show with Jeremy Piven, whom I'd like to see on stage.
