Maybe Tuesday could be BOF day for people who don't attend tutorials?

My first OSCON experience was Monterey in 98 and I really enjoyed the BOFs. I was on my own a long way from home and the BOFs helped me learn stuff and meet people and network. My second OSCON experience was Portland last year. There was a lot I liked more, but I did miss the BOFs. My networking happenined at parties and events, but it was a different atmosphere.
I'd be surprised if running the BOFs throughout the day on Tuesday h

There was an OSCamp [oscamp.org] this year and there will be one next year.

  I didn't really know anything about OSCamp. I thought it was one of those invitation things, like FooCamp. Apparently, I was mistaken.
  
  Maybe that's sufficient (though with larger room?).

...and probably won't go. I did attend YAPC this year. I really enjoyed it and I am seriously considering attending next year.

I did like having it in my home town this year :-)
